One of my colleagues is pregnant and someone came up with the idea of revealing whether it was a boy or a girl to the office via a cake.
I went on a tour of a sweet factory in France!
I also got bitten by many, many mosquitoes and ate a lot of bread and cheese, but that’s a different blog post.
I went on holiday to Nice in France, and my friend found a leaflet for a sweet factory tour in our hotel lobby. From reading this blog, even though we’re only about six posts in, hopefully you’ve gathered that I have a bit of a sweet tooth. So obviously I had to go!

A week full of cake
Weeks that are full of cake are the best weeks, I think.
I kicked off the week with a banoffee pie, made a pear and honey cake as my next bake, and then made even more over the weekend.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream (cupcakes)
I love summer!! It’s my favourite time of year until the end of November when I start getting excited about Christmas.
Who am I kidding? I start getting excited about Christmas in July.
