Well today we’ve opened up the old Cadbury’s cookbook again. Last time I did that was for World Chocolate Day and I made the chocolate covered gingerbread from the front cover of the book.
Today I have delved further I to the book, into the cake section, and I’m making a chocolate fudge cake!
Now I made it in a ring tin because that’s what the book says, but halved the recipe because my tin was smaller than the one the book specifies. I just did the all in one method too for minimal washing up!
Now it’s World Chocolate Day on July 7th, so I thought it would only be right to crack open a Cadbury cook book to celebrate.
This is actually my mum’s cookbook, and I remember always loving the look of the biscuits on the front cover. I’m not sure why it’s taken me until age 33 to make them, but never mind.

Valentine’s Day has rolled around, and once again I find myself single.
I haven’t given up hope though! Two smiley faces in one email is definite flirting isn’t it?

So, before Christmas I went to Tesco. They had an offer on Terry’s Chocolate Oranges which was something ridiculous like ‘buy one get two free’. I saved £4!
I told the lady at the checkout that I liked her optimism when she pointed out that the best before date wasn’t until March.
“Replace the butter in cookies with avocado! You can’t tell the difference!”
NO, I shout. I LIKE BUTTER.
“You’re having eggs and toast? Why not have it with smashed avocado? Nom nom nom!!!!!!”
NO, I shout. I JUST LIKE EGGS.
