Cadbury’s summer fruit pavlovas

Here we are once again with the delectable Cadbury’s ‘Simply Chocolate’ cookbook. You may recall I’m continuing to test this book because the recipes are so easy and I wondered if it’s me picking easy ones, or if they really are easy.

Just to flag – I haven’t got a huge amount to say about this recipe. Just like all the others I’ve tested before, it was a very easy recipe and these looked and tasted great. So this will mainly be pictures, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing!

A very lovely chocolate fudge cake

Well today we’ve opened up the old Cadbury’s cookbook again. Last time I did that was for World Chocolate Day and I made the chocolate covered gingerbread from the front cover of the book.

Today I have delved further I to the book, into the cake section, and I’m making a chocolate fudge cake!

Now I made it in a ring tin because that’s what the book says, but halved the recipe because my tin was smaller than the one the book specifies. I just did the all in one method too for minimal washing up!

Chocolate covered gingerbread for World Chocolate Day!

Now it’s World Chocolate Day on July 7th, so I thought it would only be right to crack open a Cadbury cook book to celebrate.

This is actually my mum’s cookbook, and I remember always loving the look of the biscuits on the front cover. I’m not sure why it’s taken me until age 33 to make them, but never mind.
